MINING THE GOLD

Introduction
One might say, "Gold? It's only water!" On the moon, however, water is a precious resource--perhaps even more valuable than gold. Taking the water astronauts need with them into space is very costly. The NASA Discovery Program wants to do things "Faster, Better, Cheaper," and, now that ice has been found, these goals might be significantly easier to accomplish, perhaps paving the way for a permanent human return to the moon.
